The 5th Annual Historic Montgomery Wine and Food Trail, "A Toast to Texas"is sure to be an exciting event this year with so much enthusiasm already generated from the success of the previous years! This will once again be an ALL TEXAS festival held in Texas' 3rd oldest city and the birthplace of the Texas flag.  Sponsored in part by Suddenlink, admission to the event is FREE!

By providing a real family atmosphere with activities for adults and children alike, we are anticipating between 6,000 and 8,000 visitors based on previous year's attendance. This wine and food event will feature ALL TEXAS WINES and ALL TEXAS FOODS along with a host of other arts, crafts and upscale artisan vendors, as well, from across this great state! Attendees will sample wine, seasonal and micro-brewed beers, and lots of great food all day. The kids will also enjoy themselves with plenty of activities such as fun jumps, grape stomp, face painting and much more to keep them entertained and happy throughout the day!  Of course, there will be great Texas music performed throughout the day and Montgomery's famous Antique and Gift stores will be open too.

Based on the success of this event, the Texas Department of Agriculture is committed to promoting this event throughout the state to all of its members, enhancing the variety of vendors that will participate and assuring a true "Go Texan" event.

A portion of the net proceeds from the event are invested in the community and redevelopment project for the downtown historic area of Montgomery.

These projects enhance the perception of Montgomery as a terrific place to visit and an even better place to live!  Proceeds will also be dedicated to other non-profit charitable organizations that work to improve and help the community.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, September 25th and at one of the many events in Montgomery!
